David Hicks is a lean leader and long-time quality professional. He leads the TBM Maintenance Excellence practice and manages several key client relationships.
David works directly with senior management teams to execute strategy deployment and sustainable performance improvement in large footprint, global organizations across many industries including food and beverage, automotive, aerospace, medical devices, industrial and marine. Since joining TBM, Dave has become a trusted advisor to manufacturers such as Pactiv Corporation, Prestone, Fram, Pratt & Whitney, Conn-Selmer, KLN Family Brands and White Castle.
Before joining TBM, Dave held progressively responsible quality and continuous improvement roles at Teleflex Incorporated. At Teleflex, Dave was the Global Director of Quality and Continuous Improvement where he implemented lean in many industries. He has a strong background in diagnostics and statistics and has trained many people in statistical methods.
Dave has an MBA from the University of Findlay, Findlay, Ohio, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. He has taken several graduate statistics courses from the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York and holds a Six Sigma Master Black Belt certificate.
